This is a courtyard scheme for a secondary school in Brooklyn, New York. The open center and thin wings allows for well-lit classrooms and corridors for the three-story building. The gable components of the elevation, inspired by a building by Karl Frederick Schinkel, relate well to the lower, gabled domestic architecture surrounding the site.
